We headed through Vermont and took a short break on Hog Back Mountain.
We stood by an inspiring statue of Mrs. Molly who was reputed to be a virtuous woman.

The quaint town of Wilmington, Vermont had friendly merchants and residents.
We saw no dandelions in Vermont, but there are many beautiful wild flowers.
Maine had much beautiful scenery, including forests of wild Lupine flowers!
We made it to Bar Harbor, Maine just in time for a most majestic (and romantic) sunset.
Our one week anniversary dinner was a seafood dinner on the water in our wedding clothes. It brought back very dear memories of our wedding day.

We stopped to look for starfish and sand dollars, but they had all died this year due to a harsh winter.
The Chinese restaurants were one of our favorites on the trip.
This is the route we took to get to Bar Harbor, Maine on the first half of our honeymoon. We stopped in Niagara Falls, drove through Canada, weaved through Upstate New York, lower Vermont and New Hampshire and then stayed in Maine for almost 4 days.
We walked and talked and contemplated that many waters cannot quench love...not even Niagara Falls could quench the power of love. As we love one another and do what is right, God's love is made complete in us. (1 John 2:5; 4:12,17)
We took one last picture before leaving Niagara Falls. The just married sign on the car brought us many friendly "honks" on the road. The sign was made by our little sister Ruth.
We have much to thank God for and we cannot praise Him enough for all the mighty things He does. Glory to His name!

This is the route we took on our way back home from Bar Harbor. We drove through Boston (without turning or stopping), down by Cape Cod and stopped at the beach. We stayed outside of Providence, Rhode Island then headed back through Scranton, PA for another nice stop.
reminiscent of our engagement (where we announced our getting married) and a great opportunity to practice our Chinese speaking (limited as it is)...the Indian, Mexican and Seafood were also great stops along our trip.
We headed West in the large state of PA and stopped in DuBois, PA. Then, since we were eager to get home, we shot back through Ohio and back up to Grand Rapids, MI. It was a great trip.
